Your Sölden holiday with fantastic views

The road to Hochsölden alone, 2090 m above sea level, is spectacular. From Sölden you take the year-round panorama road up to the hotel village that is located in the middle of the ski resort, Hochsölden is snow sure, spoilt with sun and away from traffic. As well as that you enjoy the best views of the ski resort of sölden and the surrounding mountains of the Ötztal.

Skiing fun throughout the winter

Directly from the ski cellar of the Hotel Hochsölden into the pulsating ski resort of Sölden. There are 144 kilometres of slopes, 31 modern lifts, 33 ski huts and restaurants along with three, three thousand metre peaks in the middle of the ski resort. There are two glacier skiing areas joining the winter ski resort providing skiing fun from the beginning of winter into May. Even the village of Sölden is accessible due to the shuttle bus running three times a day.

Important information for a safe journey
Please note that winter tyres are compulsory for vehicles in Austria depending on the weather conditions. This stipulates that winter tyres are mandatory from the 1st of November to the 15th of April in winter conditions on the road.
Snow chains are also advisable and may be necessary.

…from the north (Germany)
Either via Garmisch-Partenkirchen/Mittenwald/Seefeld or Kempten/Fernpass/Imst or via Bad Tölz/Achenpass/Jenbach on the A12 motorway. Follow the motorway to the Ötztal exit. Exit the motorway and take the B186 until you reach Sölden after 35 km. Drive to the end of Sölden and turn off in the direction of Rettenbach-/Tiefenbachgletscher. Follow the road until you reach the Hochsölden junction. At the end of the road you will reach the Hotel Hochsölden.

…from the West (Vorarlberg/Switzerland)
Drive over the Arlberg Pass or through the Arlberg Tunnel from Vorarlberg to Tyrol in the directon of Landeck. Then continue on the A12 motorway to the Ötztal exit. Exit the motorway and take the B186 until you reach Sölden after 35 km. Drive to the end of Sölden and turn off in the direction of Rettenbach-/Tiefenbachgletscher. Follow the road until you reach the Hochsölden junction. At the end of the road you will reach the Hotel Hochsölden.

…from the east (Salzburg/Vienna)
Coming from Munich, Salzburg or Vienna in the direction of Kufstein, follow the A12 motorway via Innsbruck until you reach the Ötztal exit. Exit the motorway and take the B186 until you reach Sölden after 35 km. Drive to the end of Sölden and turn off in the direction of Rettenbach-/Tiefenbachgletscher. Follow the road until you reach the Hochsölden junction. At the end of the road you will reach the Hotel Hochsölden.

Both stations are used by international trains (eg. Railjet or EC). From Ötztal Bahnhof the buses run every half an hour taking you to Sölden. We are happy to organise a shuttle from the station for our guests.
