The Hotel Hochsölden was the first hotel to be built in Hochsölden. In 1934 Serafin Gurschler, tourism pioneer of the Ötztal and the grandfather of Christiane Gurschler, welcomed the first guests in his hotel. At that time, the hotel was only accessible by a steep hay and wood pulling path. In 1948 the first lift from Sölden to Hochsölden was put into operation, so more and more guests came to Hochsölden.
Christiane and her siblings Caroline, Herbert and Michael have learned and lived tourism and Tyrolean cordiality from an early age. Highest quality and unique hospitality are a matter of course in their hotel in Sölden, because the well-being of the guests is the top priority for Christiane and her team.
